In Reverie of Ruin, you play as Elias, a lost soul trapped in the dreamlike world of Elys—a decaying realm ruled by ancient gods and goddesses. Haunted by the memory of their beloved Lyra, Elias is led by a cold, whispering voice that promises salvation:

"Kill the gods. Save her soul."

Driven by sorrow, Elias sets out to obey—only to discover that these divine beings are not monsters, but kind, cryptic entities trying to help. As the line between reality and delusion shatters, Elias must confront a terrible truth: the greatest threat may not be the gods, but the voice inside their own mind.
